    Hypnotherapy Services

    What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a type of complementary therapy that uses hypnosis to treat psychological conditions or change undesirable habits. Hypnosis is achieved with the help of a trained hypnotherapist, who uses guided relaxation methods to alter your state of consciousness, which is often referred to as a naturally occurring trance-like state. When under hypnosis, you will become completely relaxed and more susceptible to suggestion. Hypnotherapy services can be used in isolation or alongside other treatments and can benefit your physical health and mental wellbeing in many ways.

What are the benefits of hypnotherapy?

    1. Hypnotherapy promotes relaxation, which can have a massive impact on your physical health. It can reduce nervous system activity, decrease blood pressure, slow heart rate, and accelerate healing processes.
    2. Hypnotherapy empowers you to take control of your life, body, relationships, and surroundings.
    3. Unlike many other forms of psychological treatment, you control your therapist's methods and have the power to bring yourself out of the hypnotic state.
    4. Hypnotherapy services will teach you valuable life skills and allow you to directly influence your future.
    5. Hypnotherapy is all-natural and has little side-effects or complications.
    6. Hypnotherapy services are cost-effective and one of the cheaper options for psychological treatment.
    7. Hypnotherapy teaches you self-sufficient methods that can be practised and have long-lasting effects.

    How does hypnotherapy work?

Hypnotherapy is about tapping into the naturally occurring state of trance, which is the same as glazing over or being zoned out. A hypnotherapist can help you to be in this state deliberately. They can then use language based tools and techniques to help you to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviour to help you to achieve your goals.

At Focused Hypnosis, we charge an average rate of £70 per session. Some clients see changes happen within one session. Some find that it might take three, four or five sessions to see results. However, if you require a specific hypnotherapy service, your therapist will be able to tell you their exact rate and give you a better idea of how many sessions it might take.

Richard may have saved my life! I was smoking 60 cigarettes a day and had no other way to quit. There was not a single thing I wanted to do without... smoking and not a single emotion that I didn't associate with smoking. Richard sat with me and talked about all the triggers and issues that I felt, he spent a long time before the session started. Then in the session he made me feel relaxed about everything and confident that we were going to beat the habit. When I came out of the the session, I didn't smoke, and I haven't for over 7 months now. I had tried everything else previously, and he is the only person who has made me feel truly like a non smoker. I hang out with smokers, I go to smokey venues, and I just don't need it myself. He is truly a miracle worker and I am so impressed and grateful for what he did. Thank you Richard, please keep changing people's lives for the better. read more
