Hypnotension CPD Review For Hypnotherapy Practitioners

I have recently completed the Hypnotension Continuing Professional Development course and I am very impressed with the course and thought I would share my thoughts on it. wanted to write a short review of the Hypnotension course for all my followers out there who are hypnotherapists.

The Hypnotension course is designed specifically for hypnotherapists to teach them new skills to add to their existing skills set to enable them to help people with high blood pressure (hypertension). It is estimated that there are 10 million people with hypertension in the UK. That means that the potential number of people for whom this course could be of use is around 9 million people!

Let me run you through the main features of the Hypnotension programme so you know exactly what you are getting before you buy.

"Fantastic course. Well presented. Certainly a wealth of techniques to add to my toolbox."

- Leigh Milne

The course is very high quality and goes into a LOT of depth. Unlike other on line CPD courses I have done this one is the real deal and won't disappoint.

It also means that if a potential client ends up on the Hypnotension website looking for a practitioner then they can do a search for someone local and could find you.The best part of the course, in my opinion, is that once it is completed you then have the chance to edit your practitioner profile on the website. Here you can add a large amount of detail about your hypnotherapy practice which is excellent from a search engine optimization perspective.

How Much Does The Course Cost?

The full course should cost £197 but for you it is just £175 when you use the 25% discount code below. Even at full price the cost of the course is comparable to prices I have paid for other CPD courses where I have got less content and value!

"I found this course to be fantastic! Very comprehensible and easy to follow."

- Review by Atreyee

The course also comes with a 60 day no quibble money back guarantee so you can be sure that the course suits you and will be a great investment of your resources, which it is.

Who Is The Course For?

The course is designed for the 90% of people with essential hypertension for whom there is nothing that the medical profession can help. These are the people who are told by their GP to change their lifestyle or else they will have problems. The problem is the GP can do next to nothing to help these people to actually change their lifestyle. that is where the Hypnotension course comes in.

"It was a most enjoyable experience and I would recommend it, and have done already, to my practising colleagues." - Hypnotension review by Krisjones

Through the course you get full training to help you to help people with essential high blood pressure. This is done by addressing the lifestyle factors that can contribute to high blood pressure.

The course provides a comprehensive but easy to understand explanation of what exactly high blood pressure is and how it impacts the body. I went from knowing next to nothing about blood pressure to having a very clear understanding of what it is and how it develops.

The Hypnotension course also looks at the following areas that could help your clients reduce their high blood pressure:

  • Alcohol
  • Exercise
  • Anger
  • Taking Responsibility
  • Impatience
  • Conflict
  • Guilt
  • Identification
  • Control
  • Environment
  • Fear Of Death
  • Salt
  • Weight

These are the main issues that can have an impact on essential high blood pressure. The training provided in each of these areas includes information on how the specific issue affects blood pressure and also includes detailed information on how hypnotic techniques can be applied to these issues.

A Comprehensive Resource Pack Is Included

As well as the training there is also what is called the "resource pack" for everyone who successfully completes the course.

This part of the course includes detailed transcripts of techniques that you could use in your practice alongside your existing knowledge and skills.

I would strongly recommend you take notes as you work your way through each section as there is a lot of detail provided in each part. Once the course is completed all the slides that form the training sections can be downloaded for your reference.

Also included in the resource pack are course logos or varying quality for both web and print use. There are a number of marketing related guides and tips to help you to get the very best out of your Hypnotension course. There are press release templates, posters that would look great in your local GP's waiting room and presentation slides so if you do talks to groups of people you will be able to deliver a professional and good looking presentation.

Also included in the resource pack are client intake forms that guide you through the consultation and what to ask your client at your first meeting.

How Is The Course Assessed?

The 'exam' at the end of the course takes the form of a number of multiple choice questions. The course creators advise you to allow an hour but I found that I was able to complete the questions (with a bit of reference back to my notes!) in less than 30 minutes and I passed first time with a grade 80%. If the exam is not passed first time you still have the chance to sit it again so your money is not wasted.

Feedback From People Who Have Done The Course

Throughout this review of the Hypnotension course are the comments from other people who have done the course and found it very rewarding.  I have done a number of hypnotherapy CDP courses over the years and I think this is one of the best...if not THE best!

I don't think I have ever done a course where the feedback from other participants has been so overwhelmingly positive either! There are areas where you can comment throughout the site and after each section and many many people have used these spaces to provide their feedback and it is 99.9% (approx!) positive, supportive and encouraging. The course creators really have done a great job.

In conclusion I have found the course well presented, in-depth and diverse. I would highly recommend the course to any hypnotherapists looking for a quality CPD course.

My Review Of Hypnotension CPD
